Once the child reaches kindergarten age, SPARK uses school-based data such as the KRA-L test and other standardized tests to follow the progress of the SPARK child through the third grade and compares SPARK children to a comparison group of same school non-SPARK children who entered kindergarten at the same time. The following chart shows that SPARK children have scored significantly higher than non-SPARK comparison children since the program began.
