Evaluation

Once the child reaches kindergarten age, SPARK uses school-based data, such as scores on the KRA-L test and other standardized tests, to follow the child's progress through the third grade, and compares SPARK children to a comparison group of same-school non-SPARK children who entered kindergarten at the same time. The following chart shows   

that SPARK children have scored significantly higher than non-SPARK comparison children since the program began.
